Wii LAN Adapter

If you want to use the online features of your Wii console and you don't have a wireless router, you can use the Wii LAN Adapter.

Click here for information on how to hook up your Wii console to your wired home network using the Wii LAN Adapter in order to access your broadband internet connection.

NOTE: The Wii LAN Adapter is NOT required to connect your Wii console to the internet using your high-speed internet connection. If you own a wireless router, you should be able to go online without any additional accessories. Click here for information on the various options for connecting your Wii to the internet.

If you do not own a wired or wireless router, but you have a PC connected to the internet through a broadband modem, you can use the Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector to connect your Wii console to your broadband internet connection through your existing PC.
